Moelis PCA sucks
Just got screamed at by the dude in charge at Moles. Probably the most unpleasant guy I have come across in my career. Anyone else know of him to be this awful?

I mean, he was an MD at EVR so he’s made his money. $1-2m is short term “pain” for a much bigger payout if he can build something that competes with EVR. Not easy though.

I got recruited by them to join his team last year. He no showed 2 straight zoom calls that were set up by his admin because he wanted to speak with me. No email explanation before or after. Just silence.
Bailed on the position. Hr head calls me to wonder why I'm not interested they really wanted me to strongly consider the team etc. Told her straight up I'm not dealing with this guy if this is how he treats interactions with others.
Like i get people are busy and meetins overrun (and speaking with a lowly vp is not a priority) but you don't just ghost people you set up meetings with multiple times...
