Moelis PCA vs Citi Coverage IB

I just received two offers at these two investment banks and am trying to weigh the pros and cons of each in terms of exits, pay, optionality and overall work experience. Would love any insight in to what would be the better option.

Unless you want to do PCA specifically (which is a hot area and a growth area at Moelis), go to Citi. While Moelis M&A / coverage clears Citi, this is PCA you’re comparing against. Citi is still a solid bulge bracket and you’ll get a good experience in a number of the coverage groups there in traditional IB coverage vs being confined to PCA. From an exits perspective, headhunters will understand Citi coverage a lot better than Moelis PCA which will make your life a lot easier.
