Moelis/PJT Associate Pay
Hello all, I am currently in the process of lateraling from my MM firm to an EB. I've had colleagues refer me to these two firms. I am curious to see what their comp is and whether or not it even is worth for me to lateral.
Can anyone here confirm or know of the base comp + bonus these two firms would be getting? I've heard from friends that AS1s would be making above $500k all in. I personally find that really hard to believe...
500k figure is probably for CVP, not PJT and Moelis
Technically, you’re comparing AS2 to AS1 if you want to bring CVP into the mix because they have a 3 year analyst program.
They're not comparing A2A, they're comparing As1 laterals so the length of analyst program doesn't matter
Got it, what I am trying to say is that at CVP, you’d be an AS1 while at Moelis you’d be an AS2 if you were to go through the program. So ideally, one should compare the AS2 salaries of Moelis to the AS1 salaries of CVP.
Those two firms don't pay ASO1 over $500k. Also keep in mind you are benchmarking to COVID numbers, which are most likely going to come down this year.
