Former analyst here. I’d rank PJT #1 and EVR #2 in the space. HL and CVP would be in the next rung at #3. HL based on quantity of mandates and CVP based on quality of mandates and mandates per capita given they only have a couple analysts total. Lazard and Moelis in the tier after. Usually we would see them advising the less important creditor groups and they would sneak in a debtor side / important creditor side here or there. In terms of work product, I have been most impressed by PJT, HL’s EU franchise, and CVP.
