Let's say you start your IBD career at a satellite or regional office at Morgan Stanley. How easy or hard is it to transfer to the NY office?

Interested as well. I also want to know if it works the other way round (i.e. from NY to Paris/Tokyo/Milan) given that you speak local languages.
