Most expensive nights (in $USD)

Most expensive restaurant bill or bar tab you’ve seen? In one sitting/one night what is the most you’ve seen on a receipt? Feel free to add some flavor to your answer - maybe some details about what was on there or where it was. Lot of people stereotyping those of us that are familiar with Stonks about how much is spent on T&E so let’s prove em right

Two come to mind (at least where I footed the bill), normally not like me (especially #2) but everyone has their douchebag finance days:

After a good year (and after getting my bonus) I took a group of colleagues out to dinner to thank them. Total bill was $16k with about $10k on alcohol, including lots of champagne.

Friends bachelor party in Vegas where I offered to pay for the night out (partially because I wanted to do things right). There was only 5 or 6 of us. Dinner was moderate ($3k or so). Then went to club, and of course they settled on a $10k minimum table which ended up being closer to $20k, lots of people around us got free drinks.

Funniest

From a 2014 NY Post article on Sage Kelly and the Jefferies Healthcare team:

"During one particularly rowdy night out with a client, Kelly, 42, racked up a $28,000 bill at Scores strip club in Chelsea, the source claimed. “In typical Sage fashion, he stuck the analyst with the tab. Poor kid almost had a nervous breakdown trying to figure out how to run it through as an expense,” the source said."

I’m 19 but for a hs grad trip in Europe, 7 of my friends and I got high end bottle service. Dinner was like 500 euros, bottle service + tip was like 2000. One of my friends also got 2 400 euros bottles of dom on the side... all together I paid like 300 USD that night. Didn’t remember a thing... just know I puked on a girl from Brown who was at our table and probably the hottest girl in the country at the time... Apparently she was premed/nursing and really nice so she took care of me all night spoon feeding me water. Saw her the next day at the same club (yes, we ran it back to a smaller degree, around 1500) and she jumped onto me with a hug..

Best moment of my life
