Most useful majors for getting into IB?

Hey there folks, I will be going into uni soon (Aus). Just wondering for myself and any other prospective IBers, what you think/know are the 3 best majors for getting into IB, and maybe even other types of funds. In addition, does anyone see the value in doing a commercial (business) law major even with the possibility of jobs in other areas of finance, considering you aren't a qualified lawyer from it? Currently I am thinking of these three from USYD: http://sydney.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-commerce… http://sydney.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-commerce… http://sydney.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-commerce… Thanks in advance.

In Australia the most common uni degrees I have come across in IB (through mates, networking, etc.): - Com/Law - Com/Econ - Com/Eng. - Com (hons.); or econ (hons.) - Mathematics/Data Analytics, etc.

I think the most prevalent of the above would be the Com/Law combo in my experience, although laterals are possible from law grads who go to law firms and move across after ~2-3 years. USYD is a solid uni, all the best!
