To keep this brief, I am currently in my third year at a HF FOF and am interested in making the switch to investment banking. I've been conducting analysis primarily on equity and credit strategies however from my current role in this industry I have only gained a topical experience as I have not been able to get much corporate finance experience, which I have come to be interested in.
I understand that many people have made the switch out of IBD however I want to see if anybody has been able to do the reverse and how their experience was in getting there.
