MS and HSBC HK
How are things there now? Saw the news on Bloomberg yesterday. Not sure if other banks in HK will follow.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Morgan Stanley (MS) and HSBC have distinct standings in Hong Kong's financial sector. MS is noted for being a leader in terms of deal flow, particularly strong compared to Goldman Sachs (GS) in the region post the 1MDB scandal. HSBC, on the other hand, is recommended by local contacts over Credit Suisse (CS) for its structured promotion paths and strong local presence.
As for the current situation and whether other banks will follow any recent developments, the specific details from Bloomberg you mentioned aren't covered in the provided context. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, checking the latest news or official bank communications would be advisable.
bump
Thought HSBC did a round earlier this year, seems like there's still more rounds to go and people either didn't get the hint that the firm wants them gone (i know MS guys with ~1 month bonus) or they couldn't find suitable exit ops.
I heard quite a majority at MS got 1 month.
So I guess most won't take it as a hint as time to go.
