MS Coverage Groups (In-House Modeling V. M&A)
I've tried to find some info on this, but it seems that the last thread to come out is quite outdated.
Which Coverage Groups at MS Execute (Run the model) in house? (and if they do run in-house M&A do they still work with the M&A product team?)
I'm assuming Power and Utilities does due to the nature of the industry. But unsure of others.
Would love the insight!
edit: I have accepted an offer for 2022
Bump
Did you execute an offer first?
Yup for 2022
Yes, that's right
This is more on a case by case basis. Every team can potentially run models in-house or outsource them. GPUG / FIG / O&G give you higher chances to run models internally.
GPUG, Transpo, Tech East, FIG, & RE all do M&A in house.
Bit of nuance with tech, there's an internal tech M&A team (separate from the broader M&A team) that executes most of the bigger mandates
