I would go with a windows computer. I got a Mac going into my freshman year of college thinking that it would be the same. In reality most of it is the same, but very limited on shortcuts, etc.
The software itself is fine, but shortcuts are not nearly as versatile as on a Windows OS
I use Mac and once you get used to its shortcuts, it's not that bad. However, at work you will surely have to use Windows, so you may feel the change
IMO MS Office on Macbook is a shitshow that runs slower and is less optimised. Moreover, you get shit shortcuts and have to learn them from scratch once you get in the office, and knowing shortcuts/ribbon is like 70% of your job as an analyst. Would not recommend unless you have no other choice
