My analyst is fucking me over

Going to keep it nice and short, this is my second BB IB internship (did sophomore and now junior) so I have a fairly good idea of what to do. On one of my deals I'm staffed with an analyst who gives me bad directions / guidance and whenever we go to the associate he shits on us and it makes me look bad. What the fuck do I do?

You are probably doing something wrong. Ask the analyst if you can go over work before going to the ASO, or if you're confused ask for clearer directions

For what it's worth, no ASO will be too bothered by an analyst shitting on an intern unless it's "Intern came in drunk at 11am" - it's week 3(?) you are expected to know/do close to nothing. But you should approach this as what can you do better to make sure it's the work they want, not my analyst is an asshole.
