Nasdaq Advisory Analyst to IB possible?

Currently working at Nasdaq's advisory division where we basically provide publicly trading companies with info on trading metrics, the key drivers behind stock performance, and research into who is buying and selling within their stock with specific names. I come from a non-target with a very subpar GPA so I was wondering if there is anything I can do at all to get into IB or am I just shit out of luck. Currently 27 so I am getting up there in terms of age.

Just curious - how do you like working at Nasdaq? Always thought it was a cool exchange and some of their innovation is pretty interesting but haven't heard much about what it's actually like to work there.

Personally love it. My role involves really diving into the markets to keep my clients updated on what's happening and there is a lot face time with a lot of C suite level folks or VPs since they are my contact points. I find it a great company overall except the pay is not that great.
