Need help with Citi IBD networking

Hi guys,

Need some advice on how I should proceed with networking. Im finishing my undergrad in Canada in couple weeks, I've came across some Hong Kong/Taiwan Citi IBD analyst programs that I really want to give it a try.

My grades are mediocre in terms of IB standards, I have some exp, but I feel like I need to network like mad if I were to have any shot at this.

Question is,I don't seem to have any contacts after flipping some the alumni network, doesn't seem to have a lot of folks from my school work in Citi Asia Pacific.

Any advice on how I can proceed? Linkedin? and who I should try to contact? Analyst, Associate, VP, MD?

Citi Asia is not any easier than Citi in the US. Besides recruiting in Asia they also come to campuses in the US. e.g. Citi Global Markets for HK/Singapore gave a presentation at Penn this year with a huge turnout and they were very selective. You can try linked in. Why not. Always try for the highest person you can contact. But usually they have to have some reason to help you/give you a chance (i.e. went to the same school, interested in the same things, know someone in common) its the usual traditional networking tactics.
