Need some guidance - not where I want to be.

Hi All,

Recent grad here. Didn’t land a role in IB due to the current job market or flat out not being good enough.

I couldn’t defer graduation any longer, so I ended up taking an MM M&A role within a large accounting firm (RSM, GT, BDO).

We do smaller transactions, ~$10mm EBITDA+ and for now I am content with just having a job.

Problem is, I feel inferior to my peers who have landed more prestigious roles at BB’s or EB’s. I want more for myself, so where do I go from here?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
