Need Urgent Advice Regarding Current Role….

I graduated a semester early from a non-target in the NY/NJ area this past December with a major in finance and a minor in economics; 3.63 GPA. I will be doing a 1-year MSF program at a semi-target school next August. I have been interning at an eight-man boutique investment bank since April, where I mostly source for potential growth equity investors, assist with marketing materials, email potential investors for our deals, and assist with comps, but 0 financial modeling.

Prior to that, I interned at two search funds for 5-6 months each during my undergrad years. I don’t get paid at my current internship role but instead, receive performance bonuses every 2-3 months. I realized I need to start saving up and should start earning an actual income. Should I stay at my current company until the summer and attempt to negotiate a formal payment structure, or should I recruit elsewhere for a spring/summer internship prior to starting my MSF program?

Thanks in advance guys!
