Incoming summer analyst and want to network with some previous employees who lateraled/exited the industry. Goal for this is to learn more about the company, their experience, motivation to exit, recruiting process. How should I go about this? Don't want anyone to interpret it as / report me to my firm for trying to rerecruit for FT before even getting to the bank, as although I am curious about their decision, it is not my goal.
