Networking with RX analysts if I want to go into M&A?
Should I be trying to network with RX analysts at a bank if I want to get into M&A and not RX? The structure of the bank is different than most, as they only have RX and M&A.
One of the incoming M&A analysts I spoke to said don't network with RX analysts unless I really want to get into RX, since they can tell who's genuinely interested in it. They also said don't apply to both RX and M&A, since it looks weak for both.
Any insight on if I should be reaching out to RX analysts would be great!
