Never Got Any 2nd Round Interviews and Campus Recruiting is Over. Now what?
So I went 0-3 on my BB Investment Banking 1st round interviews this year. I'm a junior at a target, and I don't know what to do now for this summer or as a career. I wasn't from a business or quantitative major and had no previous finance internships, so I guess I was lucky to even get 3 interviews. That being said, this sucks.
I'm looking for advice on what to do now. Should I try to find an internship at a boutique or regional bank? How would I go about doing this? Or would it make more sense for me to give up on banking altogether and try to find a new career. All advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I got the business cards of most of my interviewers. Is it worth trying to network them?
Definitely stay in touch with everyone you met so far. These relationships can come in handy for FT recruiting and beyond. Try to find some relevant Boutique/MM IB or F500 finance experience. I know for a fact there are plenty of these types of banks that have yet to even begin their recruiting efforts.
Worst comes to worst, look for PWM internships at some BB branches to at least get the name on your resume. Basically, network your ass off over the next 6 months and try to get some relevant experience this summer for FT.
reach out to alumni! mine were really helpful!!
