New Baird Restructuring Group - Pros vs Cons?

Hi all,

I understand this is a new group with not much insight. I was just wondering what the pros vs cons would be of joining this group as an analyst?

Pros:

Opportunity to build a group from the ground up? Modeling responsibilities as an analyst? Maybe a larger bonus or some sort of financial guarantees given it's a new group (just thinking out loud).

Cons:

Worse hours? Lots of pitching? Mundane tasks? Lack of exits/prestige?

An opportunity like this seems really unique, but I'm just wondering what some people would consider when looking at a situation like this?

Its a new group, so I don't know too much about it. I will say that the MD, Anne-Marie, is an amazing boss. Treats her team like real people, doesn't require any face time and is generally on top of everything. She is very "Baird" which is awesome.

I think there might be a second new MD also involved, but I don't know them.
