Newbie - Currently a senior completing my undergrad studies

Hello!

I am new to this community as well as I Banking. I am currently a senior completing my undergraduate studies, however I do not have any experience in Business, Econ, Math or the like. I've heard over and over again that I should forget about IBanking, but I'm determined to get what I want. What I want is to gain a job as an analyst or at least get an internship to start with, anything to get my foot in the door. My worry is, I am not too stock savvy, perhaps paper trading is about all I'm acquainted with, Jim Kramer's Mad TV and the like.

Could someone advise or assist me in this matter. Any and all advice is appreciated.

Cheers!

If you are a true senior (i.e., this isn't your first senior year) then you've already missed the recruiting boat. Offers were handed out in the fall. The only jobs that are typically available this late are smaller shops with no campus recruiting, but they are also the shops that do not provide training, which you would need a lot of, having no financial education at all.

Of course, never say never, but if I were you, I'd aim for another job and if you really want to be a banker, go for your MBA in 4-5 years and try to get in as an associate.
