Niche EB’s paying a FUCKTON?
Is it true niche boutiques like Qatalyst, Dyal & Co, Allen, Leerink, AECA, Klein, Tidal pay more than the larger EB’s? I have heard insane numbers…….

Yes but their interviews are even harder than Centerview though.
no
Qatalyst is not a “micro EB” lol it is a top firm
Does Leerink belong here? Genuine question
I'd say no, just because they don't really dominate HC, but they're a very good firm to land
Low headcount and landing mega-deals
Either you land mega deals like Dyal / Allen or you land a ton of deals that can vary across $100M - $2B like Ardea Group or AEC Advisors
Ardea did a $53b merger recently fwiw
Ducera as well
Some random LinkedIn recruiter reached out about AEC Advisors and said they pay $450K for associate 2 lol.
Yes, true. I’m an ASO3 at a BB and probably make less than ASO1 at these shops.
The real money is the niche boutiques with very low head count cranking out a ton of deals. Dyal pays very well but is dependent on landing whale M&A deals vs the other volume shops.
Dyal is ridiculous it’s like $500K ASO1.
Heard Qatalyst is $1M at VP
You should ask yourself WHY they pay so much....or do you think they're just nice guys who like to spend more on labor?
Low overhead and top partners closing deals lol. I’m sure they don’t have fancy glamorous offices and a bunch of back office garbage and they’re super efficient. Less money spent on shit and more to the people. $$$$$$$$
It's 90% driven by reduced headcount. You will sweat.
I think Dyal Lion Tree and AEC advisors all pay like $400-500K associate levels….
Can confirm Dyal most ridiculous numbers imaginable lol. More than Apollo PE on pure cash excluding carry
