Night Contacts (OrthoK) in IB?

Hey monkeys,

Anyone have experience wearing night contacts while working in IB/not sleeping much? Usually have to wear them for 5-6 hours at night to be able to see the next day, so I’m thinking about switching to regular contacts before starting this summer as I don’t anticipate being able to get a solid night of sleep everyday lmao.

They were pretty expensive (~$1k) so wanted to get some thoughts before officially making the jump.

As someone who got ortho-ks during my IB internship this summer, I can answer some general questions about them. But I was never to the point where I could only sleep 5-6 hours a night consistently so unfortunately don’t know what’d happen then.

But for me personally, my vision stays corrected even if I skip a night or sometimes two. So for the occasional really late nights I’d just go to bed without worrying about them
