Nomura London IBD SA

Hey guys! I wanted to know if anyone has an idea of the conversion rates for Nomura IBD SA (Sector Teams) in London? How strict is the conversion decision/criteria? Also what are the working hours like? I'd love any insight. Thank you!

For IB it was pretty good this year (I was an intern at the bank but not in IB) and I heard it was roughly 80%. Greentech had the lowest conversion rate from what I heard but other teams were largely fine. DCM was like 66% to my knowledge, ALF was 100%. I think FIG and FSG were high.

Working hours were quite high in ALF from what I heard. Just make sure you network hard but then again, at the same time, you cannot control headcount and team dynamics.

Thanks for all the information! Do you have any idea why greentech was so low? Was it because there were no spaces/interns were not up to the mark? Also what is ALF?

Interns were not up to it. Everybody who was qualified got converted. Think there were only 6 people without a return

Greentech always needs people so headcount likely won't be an issue this year either

Also ALF is Acquisition & Leveraged Finance
