Nomura Summer IB- Client Financing Solutions final interview

Hello!

Does anyone know what the final round in Nomura's CFS summer internship position involves?

I know it is an assessment and several questions with senior employees, however, are the technical questions the same to a normal interview in IB? (valuation, accounting, multiples...) Or is there a specific part of CFS, and how could that be?

Hope someone can help me:)

Thanks!!

if this is for London (LevFin/DCM,etc.) be well versed with questions around debt instruments - S&P Leveraged Loan/Bond primer would be a good start. Maybe also check this out : https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/files/265576251-LeveragedFinanceHandboo…;

If for SA London as I said above, consider yourself lucky if you got that invite (people tend to downplay Nomura here a lot). Their LevFin practice is actually strong if not top of the street. Despite direct relevant experience, I never heard back post tests though :(

in case you didn’t click the link or Google it yourself - yes those are parts of CFS, other groups like structured finance also exist.

No offence but sometimes it makes me wonder how do some people make it to final rounds without being aware of what the group does (even when the info is out there in black and white)
