I was told by an associate that they will start looking at non-target candidates late October-early November, with back door processes happening before that.

they hold non-core super days for SA's. Will be slightly tougher, but definitely not impossible.

Someone told me that there were 100+ kids invited to one of the top BB super days and only 4 were offered SA positions. I am assuming it was a similar "non-target/non-core" super day since my school is not a target/core school but a kid from my school got one of the 4 offers. (anyone hear something similar to this? Because part of me doesn't believe it..or just doesn't want to believe it)

I know it's competitive but JFC that is insane. I had always thought by the super day they had narrowed it down to like 50/50.

A superday does not guarantee you at least 50/50.

They range a ton. I had a JPM superday a while back and they took 4 out of 40. Sometimes, they'll take >50% (I've heard of 70%) if its early in the process and it just so happens that all the kids are fantastic.

Normally more depends where they are with their numbers internally. Often, HR can start recruiting for a non-core Superday, and then realize that they will have way more or less spots (I was at one non-core BB superday with ZERO spots - messed up right?) because more kids accept/decline than expected.
