Non Finance Masters at Oxbridge?

I have an offer to join one of Oxford/Cambridge’s non finance masters, also non-stem related (Economic History, MPP etc). Goals are IB/MBB/PE etc in London. Coming from a top UK Semi in a humanities degree, applied to top Msc Finance programs but didn’t get in (took GMAT late and score was just ok). Plan was to take a gap year and reapply next year, do some off cycles in the meantime.

Thoughts on an Economic History Msc/MPP from oxbridge for my goals?

Bump – Similar situation here.

I have a high chance of getting into Oxford’s MSc Neuroscience and am aiming for a multi-manager hedge fund in London.

In another thread, someone in the industry mentioned that it’s possible.

Would love to hear about more examples. These cases are rare, but I believe they do happen!
