Northwestern vs UMich Ross for IB

Not much to add. I'm an international student. I'm leaning towards Northwestern but I'm not sure as recruiting seems club-based at both schools. I don't mind working in Chicago IB and I'll take what I can get.

I want to have MBB as a back-up but I've also heard that recruiting for both can be a disaster.

Which school is better for IB?

It’s probably in your best interest to take Northwestern. It’s the better school by almost every metric, although placements are somewhat similar. Michigan may have more total alumni in banking (because it’s 2.5x-3x as big) but it will be slightly more competitive to recruit from Ross. Also, the clubs at Ross are going to be more competitive as well. If you’re not big into sports, frats, etc. take NW. Congrats!
