Northwestern vs UMich Ross for IB
Not much to add. I'm an international student. I'm leaning towards Northwestern but I'm not sure as recruiting seems club-based at both schools. I don't mind working in Chicago IB and I'll take what I can get.
I want to have MBB as a back-up but I've also heard that recruiting for both can be a disaster.
NW = Ross for opportunities if ur a top student, but Ross will be way more fun of a social experience.
Easy choice imo.
Ross cope
Northwestern by far. You’re gonna get a lot of Michigan students glazing in this thread but a private t10 school is always better than a top state school
please just take northwestern and run
They might have around the same total spots, but northwestern only has like 4K kids a year (and even then more placements to EVR/CVP)
2k
It’s probably in your best interest to take Northwestern. It’s the better school by almost every metric, although placements are somewhat similar. Michigan may have more total alumni in banking (because it’s 2.5x-3x as big) but it will be slightly more competitive to recruit from Ross. Also, the clubs at Ross are going to be more competitive as well. If you’re not big into sports, frats, etc. take NW. Congrats!
