Not participating in follow on deal

Hey guys, I closed an M&A deal and I want to put it on my resume, but there was a follow on acquisition that I was not staffed on. I was too swamped on a few other live things, and another analyst worked on it. If I put the original closed deal, would that draw questions of why I didn't work on the follow on acquisition during PE interviews??

Thanks!

What are the chances they even know about the follow on? Unless it was FB, those things are hardly publicized. As you said, "I was staffed on x y and z when they did the follow on, and so wasn't involved." No one will care.

Edit: Skimmed this the first time and thought you were talking about an IPO. Do people say follow on for subsequent acquisitions? That's sort of a weird phrase to use, don't think I've ever heard outside of the context of a capital raise. Regardless, if it's an M&A deal, it's even less of an issue in my mind.
