there's no nyu locations in Midtown, where most of the banks are. I mean sure you can take the subway but I wanted to stay somewhere at walking distance...
I would suggest living somewhere close to union square. Third Ave North, Carlyle Court, Palladium etc. I lived in Cliff Street. Water street and Cliff street are nicer buildings than the ones further uptown, but you're going to have SO MUCH MORE time to go out as a summer than you do as a full time, that you should live close to where the action is. When you come back full-time, live close to work, but for now, live someplace that is more fun. Also, probably want to look for something closer to a subway line that works for you (focus on express lines, not locals).
Last summer I stayed at the School of Visual arts.. 1800 for the whole summer.. walking distance to all trains and union square. Near dry cleaners, tons of food, and everything else you could need.

which dorm did yall select? What dorm do most interns on wall street stay?
They make you move out on August 4th.. That sucks since my internship doesn't end until the 17th or so. Looks like NYU is out for me.
Where are good places to live if your internship goes to end of august?
I'd like to know that too
there are a couple of dorms...are there any preferences which ones are better than others?
