Off-Cycle Internship
Just did an IB internship at a boutique bank, wondering if I could apply for Off-cycle at BB or EB. Can anyone share the timeline please? Also I noticed that not all of the banks have that, for those banks should I go for graduate program? Thank you guys in advance.
How boutique are we talking here?
In general probably safest to apply to a mixture of FT and OC across the different firms and see which ones stick. Will wait to hear the answer to the above before confirming this.
Thanks for replying. It is a firm that ranked about 180 in league table in terms of deal value with 15ppl.
Cool, yeah would go for OC for pretty much all the major BBs and EBs discussed on here. Have seen similar backgrounds get into UBS, DB, and RBC on occasion so maybe go FT for them.
Thanks! Are you familiar with the recruiting timeline?
Not super up-to-date on it but think that FT kicks off usually about a month after SA recruitment. OC is more ad-hoc often opening around the same time as SA.
Should probably start checking for stuff now to keep on top of it.
Thanks for the kind help :)
