Oil and Gas financial modeling courses?
I've been looking for an online course that teaches financial modeling for the O+G industry. I've only been able to find the WSP course, which is $500 for an e-book, so I am hoping to find something else that offers either better value for money or a lower price. BIWS has also stopped selling their O+G course. Does anyone know of other O+G specific modeling courses or has purchased the WSP book and can give a review?
Are you trying to get ahead for SA/FT or prepping for interviews? If the former, props, carry on. But if this is just for interviews, firms will 1000% never ask you anything detailed about O&G modeling - if you can explain what a NAV is you're ahead of the curve...
I live in an oil city so I thought it might be useful. I'll put some time into O+G terminology instead. Thanks!
Don’t bother. Just know your P’s, what and why for high level NAV questions, common valuation multiples for upstream and midstream and have your why energy down.

Agree with what's already been said by the others here. However, I don't even think this will help for FT because your bank will want you to model in their format, not BIWS or whatever.
