On hold after Superday, thoughts on what to do?

I was informed by recruiters that my status is placed on hold after an IB FT superday I attended. They said they would get back to me by 2 weeks so I'm assuming this is like a waitlist.

Would telling them I have an exploding offer due before the 2 weeks help me at all or more likely hurt me?

Never been put on hold before so not sure what to realistically expect. Thanks all.

Then you may as well let them know. It may not help, but I can't see how it would hurt. The alternative is saying nothing and accepting the offer in hand, at which point you disqualify yourself from the waitlist firm anyway...
