Online accounting classes? Auditing?

I'm going to a school in NYC that doesn't offer any finance/accounting classes. Anyone know if it's possible to audit a class at Stern? Or have any knowledge of online classes / materials to study?

..hoping ease the transition into banking. thanks

I would recommend auditing at least Principles of Accounting I and Intermediate I&II to really have a strong gasp of the basics of accounting. Almost all schools offer the same things in each of these classes, so it doesn't matter where you take them. If you can though, audit the class to see it in person, and to be able to ask questions.

For finance-Principles of Finance, corporate finance, Money & Banking, and Financial Modeling are usually the go-to finance classes but I'm not sure if that's the standard everywhere. That's a lot of courses though between ACC and FIN. Are you doing a summer internship, or could you do a summer semester at a university that offers these?
