Only analyst and Co-workers are 10-20+ years older than me

I'm coming up on my 10th month on the job. Working very hard and trying my best everyday with a positive mindset. I'm straight out of college at a firm that requires Experienced (3-5 +) exp. everyone I work with is 10-20+ years older than me. Still feels like I'm making a lot of mistakes. Words of advice?

Hey mate,

I'm in the exact same position as you.

Currently a buyside equity analyst of 1.5 years, so fairly small team where everyone is expected to bring some sort of value.

Im figuring it out too, theres a fine balance between being bold or obnoxious or being too quiet. So you have to find your balance, its extremly hard mate. Try and take ownership as you get more experience, but make sure you communicate what you are doing.

I know it will sometimes feel like everyone in your team is your boss, and tbh they are. So its going to take a lot of work to please everyone. What i try and do is keep in touch and ask everyone how I can help them throughout the week.

I'm still making alot of mistakes too, just takes figuring it out. Speak to your manager or someone you trust and keep asking for feedback.
