I mean if your boss is a male I don’t see what the problem is the end of the day

Controversial

Sometimes female bosses feel like they have something to prove and can be categorized as "hardos" when compared to their male counterparts

To those throwing MS - I'm not saying I agree with this or that it isn't sexist, but rather providing commentary on what I've seen / heard from working or making networking calls.  Example - headhunter sets up multiple rounds of interviews at XYZ firm but tells me to prep technicals the hardest before interviewing with the only female.  Have had this happen numerous times.

Dude ladies have felt this way in finance forever. It’s always been a bros club. Just suck it up and do a good job that’s all that matters.

I’m not saying it’s problematic but I’ve never been in a role where there’s been more women than men… just saying. Especially in finance I feel this is a little bit unusual. Plus if you think about it I am technically the only male since my male boss oversees the whole team and the rest of the team including me work under him….and they are female
