For any first years that quit, did your firm require you to pay back your signing bonus? Curious if they actually ask

I quit and my firm did ask me to pay back the sign on bonus. My contract did say that if I quit my within one year I needed to pay them back tho.

Left in under a year and never had to pay back signing bonus (top BB). Signing offer did say that I would have to pay it back, but they never asked lol
Yes you have to, full pay/ free tax.
