PCA Interviews

Interviewing at an EB's PCA group, not sure what to expect in terms of technicals. Prepared secondaries knowledge, but outside of that what can I expect? Is there a lot of traditional IB techs? Does anyone have any experience with PCA interviews?

Thank you, help is appreciated.

Firm dependent - more important to come across as genuinely interested in the type of PCA the group does, have credible reasoning why not coverage/M&A, and come across as likable

Search bar - been talked about many times before on what to expect

Thank you for the response, and yes that does make sense.

Re search bar: have read just about every thread, but wanted a more updated viewpoint & any insights on specific questions that are commonly asked.

PCA isn't technical on the job but you're expected to know the classic IBD technicals for interviews. Focus will be on what secondaries are, why they happen and how they work.

Read up on some of the half year reports and know a few figures / trends.
