Peace Corps & The CFA®
Has anyone done this concurrently?
I graduated this past May (receiving my BS in finance from a Semi-target) and will be leaving to serve in the Peace Corps in a few months. My project involves economic development and I will be located in Africa.
I plan on using vacation days to fly into South Africa and take the CFA® level 1 (Next December).
I think I'm the only person to ever try this.
If there are any PCV's out there who have also taken the CFA®, I'd really appreciate your .02
I'm not sure if anyone has done this concurrently, but at the end of the day, as long as you can study and put in the hours you'll be fine.
I'm pretty confident I'll have the time (Being that I'll be able to make the time).
There is however no way to know my exact living conditions until I'm there. That's the only thing holding me back from pulling the trigger.
