Pearl & Rosenbaum Relevant Parts to IB Interviews
I've heard the Pearl & Rosenbaum IB book is really thorough so I was wondering what parts of the book I should focus on when preparing for IB interviews.

It depends what kind of group/bank you're interviewing at, but one chapter I think gets overlooked is the sell-side M&A process. Especially if you have M&A experience, it is expected that you have a comprehensive understanding of the deal process from start to finish. You can be a DCF & LBO expert, but if you get asked what a 'CIM' is and get caught like a deer in headlights, your technical knowledge is meaningless.
Honestly it's a lot like the M&I 400 but not in question form. There's way more detail about the process of getting a deal done, and some good visualizations for you to understand what a model looks like, but it's not a substitute for banking interview questions, it just adds more color to your answers.
I've heard it covers way more than what's need when interviewing and since I've started going over the BIWS technical guide recently I wanted to supplement that with Pearl & Rosenbaum, but only the relevant parts to interviews. Basically I haven't yet learned the underlying material.
