Peasant Bus Tour of AIG Mansions

I swear this shit writes itself.

To celebrate the passage of the Populist Rage Tax, a bus tour has been organized to transport angry peasants through the loop of mansions owned by AIG executives, ostensibly to give voice to their scorn:

I think if I were an AIG exec whose home was on the tour, I wouldn't be feeding my pack of rottweilers tonight. At the appointed time, I'd instruct Jeeves to "Release the hounds." Classic.

We have officially descended into the absurd.

Hopefully it remains an ignorant union kiddie schoolbus excursion and the Prole-Herders won't agitate them into a rabid witch hunt mob. Oh, too late. Ridiculous to the point of being amusing, but also very unsettling.

SACThe peasants are certainly getting restless. Time to hire Blackwater for security.

I don't think they call themselves Blackwater anymore. I think they changed their name to G2, or some shit like that. Nope. I just looked it up. They're calling themselves Xe (pronounced "zee").

A douchebag by any other name...

No good can come of this. I don't see what they want to accomplish. There is a legit chance that some yahooes end the trip at a bar, and then go back later for some real trouble.

the evil capitalist succubuss of hard work and competition will soon be defeated!!!

long live our glorious socialist eutopia!!!

long live the worker!!!

long live the party!!!

long live the comrad!!!

Time to get Blackwater (Xee) to start Population Reduction measures... The top 25% pay virtually the entire tax pool (the bottom half combined pay 4%), yet TARP is somehow "the people's money."

I think we need to move to no representation without taxation, similar to the no taxation without representation policy.

What's to stop the majority (and the majority pay $0 each in taxes) from voting to enact a 99% tax on the richest 30%? God what would happen if we hit a depression.

Wait till there is an off-shore high-value services industry (bankers, PE, consultants, lawyers) physically located in Luxembourg, then the "people" can start fending for themselves.

Excellent point

It's too bad it'll never get out there. The media wouldn't sell the story because people don't want to buy that story. They'd rather read media that embrace how "the people's" money is being squandered, I mean its a terrible deal that the average person has to pay for ~8% of the per capita public services they each consume ... just terrible... we should jail all these greedy rich bastards - oh wait...

Can you imagine going to the movies (sporting event etc) with 10 friends, telling the richest five guys to pay 192% of the $10 ticket price ($19.2 each, 96% of the total group tab) while the the other 5 should pay a combined $0.80 each for their $10 movie tickets (4% of the total group tab). Oh but that $0.80 is ridiculous so we should really do something to make it "fair". And if some of the guys that paid 96% of the pot for years (and still do) need to borrow from the pool at one point, shit that's crazy unfair.

Aside: I'm planning to start a thinktank that works to get facts out there that people would not pay to read but would substantially influence the public conscience.
