Performance Review Prep

I’m headed into an off cycle performance review with my director to get some informal feedback on my performance throughout the first half of the year. During this time I worked on 2 transactions with him, but mainly fulfilled portfolio management duties through reviews, amendments, etc. Outside of this directors view, I worked on several other transactions with another director. I am aiming to get preliminary feedback from him as I head into the final 3 months of the year / apply any feedback to the next deal / review to prove I am worthy of promotion. What are some ways I can frame this conversation ? For context, I’m a 3rd year analyst at a commercial bank within our Lev Fin / Private Credit arm. The first year at the Bank were spent in a leadership development program.
