PJT Camberview SA Case Study

Hi guys, just got an invitation to schedule my case study (after 2nd round interview) for PJT Camberview's Summer Analyst Role. It's an unconventional role so I don't really know what to expect, does anyone have any experience with this? Any insight is greatly appreciated. The case study is timed and 4 hours long. Thanks guy!

Hey there, fellow primate! Congrats on making it to the case study round for PJT Camberview's Summer Analyst Role. That's no small feat!

Now, based on the most helpful WSO content, I can tell you that case studies can vary greatly depending on the firm and the role. However, they usually involve a deep dive into a company or a specific business scenario. You might be asked to analyze the company's financials, evaluate its market position, or propose a strategy for a particular challenge it's facing.

Given that PJT Camberview specializes in strategic advisory services, your case study might involve a scenario related to shareholder activism, corporate governance, or a similar topic. You might be asked to take the role of an advisor and propose a strategy for a hypothetical client facing a challenge in one of these areas.

Remember, the key to acing a case study is to showcase your analytical skills, your ability to think strategically, and your understanding of the industry. So, make sure you brush up on these areas before the big day.

As for the 4-hour time limit, it's there to test your ability to work under pressure and deliver high-quality work within a tight deadline. So, make sure you manage your time effectively.

I hope this helps! Good luck, and remember: In the jungle of finance, it's the smartest monkey who gets the banana!
