PJT RSSG vs HL RX Comp?
Hey guys,
Does anyone have an idea about total comp for these two shops at analyst and associate levels?
I guess consensus is that PJT pays better. Could you monkeys share any numbers?
Thanks

HL RX in 2021 was 180-190k iirc.
Thanks mate.
On a $115k base, that figure implies a bonus of 55-65% over base. I thought HL RX paid top of the street but it doesn’t. I just received my An1 bonus of 50% of base and I was shocked.
I don't think HL RX base was 115k during the 2021 bonus cycle that occurred IN 2021.
an1 hl rx was 50%??
Are you NYC?
RX also had a pretty terrible year generally, and you don’t get the benefit of a strong m&a platform to offset cycles. Anecdotally, HL seems to do way less non sense pitching and screening when there’s nothing to do, so I think it was also an easier year for that class.
But yeah, the comp sucks and I’m sure there are people in hl RX who got crushed, but all in all they seem to have a way better lifestyle than other shops
Mid bucket HL RX in 2022 was 175 all in. Base is still 105
So mid bucket had bonus c.67%? That doesn't seem bad. What's your source?
Work at HL RX lol
throwback to when I was told target all in is 200k in 2020. Before pay "increases".
That seems quite high for HL RX
Do RX groups ever do layoffs?
Not that I know but can imagine they would do it if lack of deal flow
