Please d-stroy my resume

I am working on submitting my resume for IB and Commercial Real Estate full-time positions. Please let me know what I should work on....

I am trying to decide on splitting my resume into work experience and extracurriculars so I have attached two versions.

Thanks a lot!

I almost missed these "bang my resume into oblivion", "beat my resume to a pulp", etc. thread titles.

OP, your resume is severely lacking in details. Your boutique internship needs some serious building out. I have posted this several times before, but every single IB position needs to look like this:

IB NAME [bold this] (location on far right) Your role [italicize this] (time period on far right) *Some generic responsibility (e.g. one of four analysts in Evercore's restructuring product group) *Some other generic responsibility (e.g. involved throughout entire transaction process, included the creation of marketing materials (pitchbooks, teasers, CIMs), financial modeling....)

Selected transaction experience [bold and underline this]: *Transaction description [bold this] (e.g. sale of BellSouth to AT&T) *One unique responsibility (e.g. created complex recapitalization model to analyze debt capacity in multiple scenarios) *A second unique responsibility (e.g. worked directly with CFO through due diligence, particularly as it related to Company's recent financial underperformance) *A third unique responsibility (e.g. created complex credit analysis, looking at Company's historical and projected borrowing base and static loan pool)

Build out these extracurriculars. If all you did in this frat is collect dues, eliminate it. You need to detail how you increased YoY sales at this start-up. You also need some details on these interests. "Football" is not a valid interest to put on a resume, unless you actually play it, at which point, you need to specify that (e.g. list "rec league football"). Your interests/activities line should be specific and set you apart.
