Poker and Sports Betting on Resume?

Is it ok to have Poker and Sports Betting on the interest line on my resume or do I come across as too much of a degenerate gambler? I have things to talk about if they ask me about them regarding statistics, game theory etc but it is too much of a red flag?

Yeah, I’ve had poker on my resume before under interests, mostly because I genuinely think the game builds strong analytical and decision-making skills. In one interview, it actually turned into a fun convo about game theory and risk management. As long as you can confidently link it back to critical thinking or strategic planning, it’s a good way to stand out, just maybe leave out sports betting unless it connects to something more constructive like predictive modeling. If you're into online platforms for recreational play, I’ve seen how german online casinos offer bonuses that let you try games without putting in your own money. Kinda useful if you ever want to explore games from a more analytical angle.
