Post-grad off-cycle internship to FT Analyst position?
I recently graduated from a semi-target with ~3.3 gpa. Luckily, I was able to work at a BB this summer doing commercial banking and have a few other internships w/ PE and IB boutiques. I am set to return to my BB, but felt the work was boring and really want to go all-in for IB. Is pursuing off-cycle internships at regional boutiques to convert into FT positions reasonable or am I stupid for thinking this?
In this job market, I'd probably just go with that FT position you have lined up.
Was thinking about doing it for a little just to save up some money. Ig I'm wondering if it's even a feasible way to go about getting a FT IB position?
