I've read ton of different things about exit opporunities, pay, hours, etc in DCM vs M&A. ATP I'm more inclined to want to recruit for DCM as I don't want to get killed with 100 hour weeks in M&A. Would being a DCM analyst at lets say (RBC, HSBC, DB) be comparable in career path to an analyst on the coverage team at the same bank?
