Private Credit to BB LevFin

I am currently completing my second year at a LMM private credit ($3-10M EBITDA) shop in a T3 city and looking to transition to a LevFin group at a BB in NYC (1 year IB experience prior at a small boutique). I have already tried for a year now to transition to a larger buyside shop but in most interviews I get to the last round and realize a BB/EB candidate got the spot or firm wants NYC residing candidates. I am now looking to transition to a BB LevFin IB platform and trying to figure out what banks are hiring at Associate level? I am also fine staying on the sell-side if I end up in a strong group. Comp is not the issue (firm compensate in-line with other T3 LCOL competitors), I lack a brand on my resume so desire to move more upmarket and work on a bit larger deals and higher comp but not interested to shell out $100K+ for a grad school. I dont see much activity on LinkedIn and headhunters keep showing me coverage roles.
