Psychometric Assessment?

The psychometric test I just took involved 3 tests. Verbal, logical and just a personality questionaire.

Assuming I did well in the verbal test, the personality results are what the are looking for and I did not do too well in the logic test?

Should I still get a call for an interview?

The actual logical test was 10x more difficult than the practice test I was given... :/

Also curious. I just pissed in a cup and was fingerprinted.

You'll be surprised how low the bar is for these test. Should be fine.

To the US guys, these tests are given out for pretty much all pre-interview screening in Europe (and by the sounds of it South Africa) and usually resat in the first round of interviewing (only to check that you're scores correlate and you didn't cheat) . They are akin to IQ tests in format and style, usually 20-30mins each with the main challenge being time constraints and not difficulty of content.

My non-target brain wouldn't be able to handle it.

FlakeMy non-target brain wouldn't be able to handle it.

Narr you'd dominate. My non-target brain smashed the logic test so much it came up in the interview how wonderful I was at logic problems compared to my woeful academics.

Lol, I took one for Macquarie in the past. I believe they have a base level hurdle that everyone has to clear to proceed on to the next stage of the interview process. HR usually gets this info pretty quickly, so you should be able to follow up with them the next day and find out how you did.

You do not have a 135 if the answer A does not jump out at you almost immediately, that is like a kindergarten psychometric question

135 is not that high of an IQ score....I guess I'm just not as smart as you guys.

Seriously though, how are you guys coming up with A? I've been staring at this thing for hours and I don't see any patterns. I ruled out C & E because they are triangle/square patterns and B & D because they are identical to the adjacent boxes....Is this right?????

Actually, I was asking a serious question: to even know your IQ, you typically have to take a battery of tests with similar questions. 135 is a very respectable IQ, and is MORE than enough for most finance jobs. I was just wondering how this type of question was so foreign to you......
